Privacy note
How we handle your information
Last updated Oct 18, 2026
This is a short, plain-language note about the information Mitt receives through this website and from the businesses we work with.
This website
- No cookies, analytics or tracking. This site doesn't set cookies, doesn't run analytics or advertising scripts, and doesn't load fonts or code from other companies.
- The contact form doesn't store anything. When you use it, your own email app opens with your details filled in. Nothing is sent to or saved on this site. We only receive your information if you choose to send that email.
- Hosting. Like any website host, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to operate and secure the service.
What you email us
If you email us, we receive what you choose to include, typically your name, company, email address and a description of your receivables. We use it to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a free AR health check. Health check files are deleted within 14 days, and customer names in them can be masked before you send them.
Client receivables data
When a business works with us, we handle its receivables data (such as invoices, customer contacts, payments and related correspondence) on these principles:
- We use it only to provide our service to that business.
- We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
- We ask for the least access the work needs.
- We delete it on request, or at the end of the engagement, except where we're required to keep something by law.
- Payments go directly to the client. Mitt never receives or holds client funds.
A written agreement with each client governs the engagement, including how data is accessed, stored and deleted. Where that agreement and this note differ, the agreement applies.
Questions or requests
To ask a question, or to request that we delete information you've sent us, email hello@usemitt.com.
We may update this note as our service develops. The date above shows when it last changed.
